Sentient robots called "Salvagers" are sent around the galaxy to retrieve anything that can be salvaged from crashed spaceships and city ruins — to be recycled, studied, or displayed in a museum for everybody to enjoy.
However, one day Laurel and Hardy, arguably the most cheerful and hapless pair in the entire Salvager fleet, bring back something that refuses to be catalogued, measured, or explained. It looks like an idol. It feels like a warning.
Whether it is a weapon of unimaginable destruction or the key to saving everything that has ever existed may depend entirely on who gets to it first... and what they choose to do with it.
"Among the wreckage of a thousand forgotten civilizations, Laurel and Hardy had learned one thing above all: the most dangerous discoveries are the ones that look like gifts."

From the Creative Log
Mac says about this album:
"There's very little doubt that this is one of my best albums. The variety of genres within a work that nonetheless feels cohesive made it a very interesting and exciting project to bring to life.
As one perceptive listener aptly put it: "This album is a lot of fun!"
The names of the two main characters are a very direct homage to the wonderful comedic duo that has brought so much joy and lighthearted humor to the world thanks to their talent and their spirit."
