People have always been fascinated by terrifying stories, but it was during the ‘80s that most teenagers
really started enjoying horror movies. Perhaps it’s kids’ way to get acquainted with the real horrors
they will inevitably encounter in life, or maybe it’s some ancestral necessity to witness what would be
natural violence if we were still what we actually are and delude ourselves into thinking we’re not: beasts.
Whatever the case, horror stories seem to be an ingredient of most teenagers’ lives…
This series of albums is a tribute to horror films (especially those from the ‘80s), both the bad ones and
the good ones, and it’s made for the same reason why we went to see those movies as teenagers: fun!
