Difficult times in life are like long and tough winnters. Every snowfall blocks you, and all you can do is wait for the snow to melt. Sometimes you wait with hopes and projects, sometimes you wait with a sort of almost pleasant melancholy, and sometimes you just wait, with that pain deep inside that's invisible to others ...

This album is dedicated to myself. I think I've had enough winters to deserve it.

I came up with the basic concept for this album in 1988. For several reasons, though, the right time to record it only came in 2006/2007, almost twenty years later.
Now it finally exists also outside of my head and heart...
